Petes Poetry

What if

What if I gave you a diamond ring, would you love me even more?
What if I sold it the next day, would you walk out the door?

What if I died tomorrow, would you cry till you couldn't cry anymore?
what if i rose again and you found me on the floor?

What if all my riches turned to poor?
what if I crashed and broke the law?

What if and what was don't matter anymore
What you are and what we are I truly adore.
