'Twas not the moon

'Twas not the moon that caught my eye

Nor a comet's tail that swept the sky

I vouchsafe I may swear that I

Was diverted by my Valentine

'Twas not the stars that shone so bright

Nor spotting birth signs 'cross the sky

But a pretty girl with a tempting smile

Who said she'd be my Valentine

'Twas not the lightning bug that shines

Or will-o'-the-wisp's mysterious light

But legs and lips and other stuff besides

That add up to my Valentine
