Good Enough for Me
These days few things excite me
The way they did before
Which makes some people quick to say
My life must be a bore.
I go and visit friends of mine
Then make my way on home
But with the usual fast retreat
Back to my comfort zone.
Where I can entertain myself
Doing what I like to do
Watching all my favorite reruns
Or catching a wink or two.
But regardless, I am satisfied
Being where I want to be
Though some would call my life a bore
It's good enough for me.
