After planting my seeds in the Spring
I waited for them to grow,
and am sadly disappointed
while the breeze gently blows.
I hardly had any flowers
it's been a rough year,
almost time to get rid of the old
under a sky cool, but clear.
My gardens would have been full
colours would have been great,
but where the Winter was so harsh
the seedlings had met their fate.
I hardly got any pictures
my eyes, they did seek,
looking for little hints of life
future smiles sad and bleak.
Maybe next year will be better
soil and seeds, I will sow,
colours will catch my eye
while the breeze gently blows.

I was hoping I'd see lots of flowers this year. What a disappointment. :-(
