Title: Seeing Is Believing
Today I look upon the world as far as I can see.
What a disgrace the world is to me.
The hate, the death, the war, and the terror it brings.
Christians young and old being killed for they believed.
Sad the heart will be, for there is no peace you see.
My country was one nation under God you see.
It was our pledge of allegiance we believed.
Now God is out of the equation which hurts the heart you see.
Once we were humble and true, as our colors waved during the day for you.
It was the land of the free, for everyone in the world to see.
Now it is not what you see, it is wrong to say grace as you please.
For our prayer; it offends the ones who travel to here from afar.
We need to ask, why you came here at all.
Our soldiers, who protect those in need, cannot even say a prayer with ease.
I truly believe, God needs to be added again you see.
For there will be no peace in the world you see.
Until we all bring God to our table for everything.
