We must make every effort,
Continue doing our best;
So we can find peace and comfort,
For entering the place of rest.
Then no one will ever be lost,
By following the example;
For the amount of the true cost,
As depicted in the Gospel.
The Word of God is true living,
And is active down to the core;
For God is also forgiving,
Throughout time and forever more.
But those who refuse to obey,
Sooner or later feel the wrath;
If they proceed to go astray,
For God will be blocking their path.
It is sharp as a two-edge sword,
As it cuts deep into the soul;
When the judgment comes from the Lord,
On everything that you stole.
The Word of God judges your thought,
As well as all of your intent;
Any corruption you have sought,
All other things that you augment.
We must answer as we confess,
Since you cannot hide from the Lord,
Uncovering all that you transgress,
And can no longer be ignored.
We must hold a declaration,
Stop doing the iniquity;
Faith without any deviation,
In giving total victory
But we are having a chief priest,
Who happens to be Jesus Christ;
And with the means to be released,
Sometime we are getting enticed.
