A different version of this poem currently appears on the All Poetry website. Those of us, who write a poem a day, for the month of April will get rewarded. We will win a month of Silver poet membership for an entire month. One poem a day was only the first of my poet submissions. Hopefully, the good Lord Jesus Christ will give me enough strength to keep my part of our bargain.

One poem a day
What more can I ever hope to say
as I attempt to compose one poem a day.
For the website of All Poetry.
A month of free Silver membership poetry,
is the promised reward for poets such as me.
Who promised to write one poem a day faithfully.
I hope and I pray the right poetic words will come to me daily.
In my small light pink book, I will write the name and date of
each poem. In my humble poetic endeavor I will not travel
down this momentous poetic road all alone.
Other poets will go on the same journey. Many more talented poets
will be much more successful than yours truly.
I hereby promise to record my adventure on this web site-
faithfully.
For the good Lord, who set my spirit and soul free, bestowed upon me
the inspirational gift of poetry. The same poetic spirit dwells inside
each one of you. Many milestone blessings await all of you, who
chronicle your life in poetry. We are the twenty first poetic scribes!
