We'd have the makings

Oh the glory

Up there in lights 



Both our names



But both being



Modest folk



We'd treat our fame



As an ironic joke



 



And like Santa Claus



We’d appear



For public view



Just once a year



To discreetly wave



And have a great ball



As we shouted to the world
