I ride a dark horse
Hooves beating the sod
We ride on alone
Away from their Gods
The metal the sounds
The fury of wind
We ride on thru time
To where nothing begins
Shadows on hill tops
Specters on shores
Light is as darkness
My feelings no more
I am so empty
Frigid inside
Longing to love you
Yet seething with pride
I will never surrender
I will never let go
You will never be mine
And you'll never know
I will ride on alone
I will leave my fair home
Always in love with you
Always wishing you well
Though I go not to heaven
I ride on thru hell
One day to return
One day to appear
Till then my dark love
I will show them no fear
