The Backyard Of My Life

Halloween Night

Paper dolls burst blue and green
Flying over concrete clouds
Marmalade trolls on the silver screen
Shake the dead from there shrouds
Skeletons rise up from a watery grave
The lost and lonely souls
Nobody could save
Cocktail waitresses spill all the drinks they make
Cinderella blows out the candles
On pocahontas's birthday cake
The two headed girl and the crazy clown
Practice the piano as the sun goes down
Singing a sad silent song
Wondering what went wrong
Plasticine dinosaurs dancing in light
A bubble gum bluebird flew away into the night
And all the kings horses and all the kings men
Were told to leave this place never to return again
The invisible man was nowhere to be seen
Hes a backwards travler
With a time machine
Hes playing with the past
His future will never last
Rolling with the thunder goes the human Canon ball
Past the twisted tangerine trees under a rainbow waterfall
Spiders from mars fell frozen from the sky
Determined to there destiny to do so and die
In the electrical storm
Smoke rings blow
Its Halloween night
Down at the freak show
