The Backyard Of My Life

Set My Soul On Fire

She was dressed up in leopard skin
Smoking a cigarette she had long blonde hair
Wearing big black boots
She was surrounded by butterflies
Glowing in the sunlight
With all the beauty of the stars in her eyes
She said set my soul on fire
Be my hearts desire be everything i need
Blow me out of my mind knock me off my feet
Take me dancing in the street
He had his blue jeans on with a bottle of jack
Burning down the road no turning back
He asked her name and she started to sing
She gave him a carnation the pretty little thing
He said set my soul on fire
Be my hearts desire Take me where i stand
Blow me out of my mind with a back beat
Why dont we do it in the road in the middle of the street
The bells started to ring a supersonic sound
They were in outer space
They were off the ground
They were off the ground
They were off the ground
They were under the influence high as a kite
They couldnt make any sense try as they might
They climbed over the fence of a cheap motel
Sat in the secret garden by a wishing well
She looked at him and she felt a spark
As they both started dancing in the dark
As they walk away you can hear them say
Set my soul on fire
Be my hearts desire let heaven be a place on earth
Blow me out of my mind knock me off my feet
With a tender touch and a heart so sweet
Set my soul on fire
Set my soul on fire
Set my soul on fire
