Thanks-Giving Day 2015
Poem 775- Thanks-Giving Day 2015 - Written on 11-26-2015
Thanksgiving is always a time of thanks and appreciation
Today I am giving thanks to the Lord for giving me time with my family
Time with my grandmother I may not have around much longer
Thanksgiving a day to give thanks for everything that you have
For one never knows the precious time left of loved ones
Thanks for the chance to spend it with wonderful people
And wonderful grandmother who may mix up who you are
But never stops loving you, a grandmother who is not the same as she was
Thanksgiving a time to remember what people did for you
This year I have many things to be grateful
From blessings upon blessings with shower gifts
From blessings upon blessings with wedding gifts
From family to friends to church family I love you all
I am thankful for my beloved husband that I can spend time with him
I am thankful for my husband in the fact that I can finally call him my husband
After 2 years and 2 months of dating we are now wed and
If that was all I was grateful for I would be okay with that because
He is truly my prince charming and I love him to pieces
I am thankful to be alive, I do not always take the time to say it but when
I was younger I shouldn't have survived but with God's Grace here I am
And for that I am thankful because I get to have my husband by my side
Thanksgiving, A day to be thankful, A day to remember and a day to be grateful!!!!!
