Changes in Grandma
Poem 776- Changes in Grandma 11-26-2015
I would like to say that this is a happy letter
I am writing to you about changes in my Grandma but the sad truth
Is that the changes are worse.
I would like to say that this poem of one of grace and mercy and peace
But to me it seems to be just getting worse in my grandma,
Honestly it is hurting me. Sometimes I should not let things bother me
But sadly I get very emotional and I can break down very easily and
I do not know how to stop from breaking. People say to be strong but
To see my grandmother with dementia get worse and worse,
Keep forgetting who we are and mixing up her relatives.
I know this disease is screwing with her mind and causing her to forget
And it is slightly tarring me apart from the inside out but
I am trying to let myself be strong but it seems to be failing in the
Strong department when it comes to my strength. However the changes in Grandma
Are starting to make me realize what is really important in life.
