The Ghostly Smile
Ghostly smile touched the
corner of the mouth
The expression in the eyes
was cruel and uncouth
A finger on the trigger and
the shouldered stock
The hand holding the rifle
was steady as a rock
Silent and stealthy like a
snake in the shadow
The deadly assassin waited
patiently in the window
corner of the mouth
The expression in the eyes
was cruel and uncouth
A finger on the trigger and
the shouldered stock
The hand holding the rifle
was steady as a rock
Silent and stealthy like a
snake in the shadow
The deadly assassin waited
patiently in the window
