 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Who has believed our word?
The power has been revealed;
Of rumors that you have heard,
In which the Lord has kept sealed.

He grew up in His presence,
Precisely like a young tree;
And branching out in essence,
That the world could hear and see.

Like a root out of dry ground,
He had no majestic grace;
But the spreading was abound,
Nearly to everyplace.

Nothing in His appearance,
Would make us desire Him;
But He made a difference,
Showing His spiritual vim.

He was rejected by them,
And had also been despised;
Who criticized to condemn,
And desired Him chastised.

He was a man of sorrow,
Familiar with suffering;
But knew a bright tomorrow,
Was to be buffering.

He was despised like one who,
People turn their face away;
Not considered to be true,
Because they have gone astray.

He had taken on His own,
Suffering and sorrow;
In which God then could condone,
For a better tomorrow.

He was beaten and punished,
Wounded for all our acts;
For our sins admonished,
Judgment from distorted facts.

We have all strayed just like sheep,
But have been healed from His scars;
So once we wake up from sleep,
To shine brighter than the stars.
