Poetic-Verses

'' You'll Cherish That New Day ''

Hindsight my friend,
Is not what they say,
The past you can't bend,
To suit your array.

Faults you can mend,
Yes, you can pray,
Yet the ire you expend,
Seems always to stay.

On those you depend,
They up and away,
The message they send?
You're causing affray.

You cannot comprehend,
That they will not sway,
Your life of pretend,
Is making you pay.

What's gone won't end,
It's yourself you betray.
Into hell you'll descend,
Unless you see the way.

What was once a friend,
The enemy they portray,
If you continue this trend,
You'll feel their dismay.

If with the past you contend,
There'll be no decay,
Your life you'll extend,
