The two of them huddled together
Holding one another ever so tight,
But beneath their feet the crack appears
Now this can only end in tears.
Slowly they begin to drift apart
Both dying of a broken heart,
Arms outstretched trying to hold on
Love slipped away now it has gone.
As the gap widens they know they`re beat
But they find it hard to admit defeat,
There`s no way back and this they know
They now have to find which way to go.
Their love for one another simply died
When realizing this they both cried,
What they thought was to be forever
Just did not last `til the 12th of never.
