Live your life as a new creature,
As the Holy Spirit directs;
Rather than a corrupt nature,
That the Lord easily rejects.
Think in a spiritual nature,
Concerning your ability;
For the changes in your future,
Having a new agility.
Your corrupt nature desires,
Unlike desires of the Lord;
Carnal pleasures it acquires,
Are sinful that He has deplored.
They are opposed to each other,
Causing you a mindful conflict;
Rebels against Christ your Brother,
A chaotic pain can inflict.
Spiritual nature for your guide,
No longer subject to the Law;
That Moses set forth to abide,
To stop each and every flaw.
Any corrupt nature effects,
Obvious in your attitude;
With many visible affects,
That possibly changes your mood.
Illicit sex and jealousy,
Hatred and violent anger;
Greed as being caused by envy,
Causing you to become vulgar.
There is no way to inherit,
As you have been told in the past;
It will not work just on merit,
Since you have the sin that you cast.
But spiritual nature makes love,
Giving patience and faithfulness;
As peace is flowing from above,
Touched by God with His gentleness.
We cannot act arrogantly,
Or try to provoke each other;
The Lord treats you elegantly,
Showing love for one another.
