If the Philippines was left just that the Philippines
As it has been since called the Philippines by name..
It would as well have all it's same values and ruling
Unchanged powers that be and religion both to blame..
A beautiful country a beautiful people all as if family
With respect and love and consideration hand in glove..
There was no holey than thou or better off or saved
By a fantasy away up in a heavenly sky but there was love..
Hardest work back then among one and all that be
From smallest children to the very soon to pass away..
A way more beautiful paradise then than there is now
Long before the all knowing came over the sea one day..
There was a well earned pride within themselves back then
Long before they read man written bibles of a created sin..
Which was in all actual fact blackmail to join the ranks
Of money soul collecting wealthy brain washing religions ever grim..
They had elders of incredible knowledge and respect always
To show the way to be in life with each other every single day..
They celebrated their being as they all were away back then
With acceptable answers for every problem come what may..
From the children up they all were as one all of the time
With stamina and diligence to pass every single test..
Not a fool among any born from birth to passing away
And each and every single one gave life only their best..
They needed not any religion or man written bibles that be
As right from wrong good from bad was in their very soul..
They'd been this way as if forever and a single coming day
With a decency to match any race from oldest days of old..
Family was the way they all were and it lives within today
But along come the holey than thou every Godly souls that be..
And told them all of the Philippines very perfection was wrong
As well to as if go to as if heaven they had to follow only thee..
The religious were the sinful not leaving them as they were
An organization that would under the Gods name rob them blind..
Turning them into as if Godly slave sever so very wonderful grand
Giving them a man created fantasy taking every coin in a hand..
Named the Philippines after a king Philip back then a long time ago
These islands were convinced that this only was the way to be at all..
When all of the time the Filipino was in every way more than divine
And as far as love and peace on earth answered before every call..
Along with all of this religious can's and cannot's told that they
Had to cover their beautiful bodies as it simply was not on..
And being as beautiful as they all naturally were was a sin
And that they all of now had to sing a different song..
It was not long and generations now sang this religious song
When before the Filipino took just one day at a time in reality..
There were no heavenly sent blessing but all money could not buy
Within this beautiful paradise across the ocean then that be..
The Philippines is still a paradise the people still all beautiful
But now it's entirely run by a religion unneeded for many a reason..
Such an extremely beautiful paradise that was more so back when
That come and take not give to and instruct regardless of season..
