I will always remind you,
In remembrance of the things;
Being well grounded as true,
That the Lord constantly brings.
As long as I am alive,
And I think that it is right;
Knowing that Christ will arrive,
Just like a thief in the night.
So refresh your memory,
Stirring up what you should know;
As who is your enemy,
And the direction to go.
I know that I will die soon,
Our Lord has made that clear;
Maybe at the next full moon,
But with Christ I do not fear.
So I will make an effort,
Make sure you remember things;
While remaining alert,
Whatever tomorrow brings.
When the disciples told you,
About the coming of Christ;
No need to be feeling blue,
Cravings no longer enticed.
The coming of our Lord,
The power that was made known;
That should never be ignored,
The Savior sits on His throne.
We witness with our eyes,
No clever myths or fiction;
For He is noble and wise,
Suffered for your conviction.
We could hear the soft voice speak,
Of the love and the delight;
For Jesus Christ was unique,
A blessing within His sight.
Such powerful simple words,
That the Father had spoken;
Higher than other shepherds,
For evil to be broken
