A thought just occurred and then left me
Just like any old thought you may find
This thought felt it could be something quite special
As though it came from my heart… not my mind.
But it only lasted a moment…
Then was lost like the days of the past
Without knowing or understanding each days meaning
But knowing it was never going to last.
