The messenger of the Lord,
Came and sat under a tree;
It could never be ignored,
That I was able to see.
As he sat I heard him say,
That the Lord needs a brave man;
A just man who does not stray,
And can carry out His plan.
I asked, what has happened here,
Where are all the miracles?
The people no longer fear,
Life is filled with obstacles.
The Lord had taken us out,
But now abandoned us;
It has caused a lot of doubt,
So many have raised a fuss.
The Lord said, "You will rescue,"
"I have made my selection;"
"A new president are you,"
"By winning the election."
"You will not be all alone,"
"Godly men be by your side;"
"Satan will never condone,"
"His forces have so much pride."
"Do not leave till I come back,"
"I want to bring you a gift;"
"The trust and courage you lack,"
"Will inspire to uplift."
Face to face for I have seen,
The messenger of the Lord;
Though not perfect but have been,
Picked to be in one accord.
I need not to be afraid,
Calm down for I will not die;
Not be confused or dismayed,
I know the Lord will not lie.
For the day has come and gone,
Now president of the lands;
Always up by early dawn,
Changing previous demands
