A Ball Spins

A Ball Spins .. by Richard Harries

A ball spins

So small

Yet

So large

Vast

And

Insignificant

So much life

And death

Riches

And

Poverty

Darkness

And

Light

Within the never ending

Universe

Man

Is

All powerful

Yet

Puny

Ineffectual

In a swirling vortex

The cosmos

Stretches

Planets

All around

More balls spinning?

Infinity

The Sun

Gaseous

Stars, asteroids

Black Holes

Eternity

And more

We spin on

So small
