Mom could not be at her son's
wedding
A prior poem
A terrible accident
She was special
The good do die young
At the wedding of her son
Her chair is a memorial
In front a special reserved place
"Mom has a reserved chair!"
She looks down from Heaven
But we knew she was there
The accident tragic
explained in a prior poem
The children were eight and ten
They saw it all
"Mom has a reserved chair"
In your heart you knew she would not miss this wedding
Missed and well loved
Inspiring several of my poems
A very special lady
The Lord knew that
and took her early to heaven
The picture just arrived
Sent to us from her Mom
It shows a White chair
Covered in colorful wedding flowers
And marked as reserved
The note reads:
"We know you would be here
today if Heaven werent so far away"
The reserved chair says it all
Those that knew kissed the chair
Those that didn't still knew she would be there
Life as we know is not always fair
Her last words, "OH my God--!"
Brother in law in passenger seat was spared
