I highly praise my God and King,
As I bless His name forever;
Lifting up my voice as I sing,
A blessing that will not sever.
I will bless Him every day,
As I praise His name forever;
Keeping my trust as I obey,
Throughout all that I endeavor.
The Lord is great and should be praised,
His greatness is unsearchable;
I am astounded and amazed,
Of all that is accountable.
Our lives are getting more perplexed,
But we should never neglect;
One generation to the next,
His mighty acts never reject.
It is a glorious honor,
To see the miraculous things;
For it has made me a fawner,
All the majestic good it brings.
People talk about the power,
Used in the terrifying deeds;
But will marvel at the flower,
That will sprout up from little seeds.
They will announce as they recall,
Of His godly mercy and grace;
Joyfully sing placing a call,
In prayer for seeking His embrace.
The Lord is merciful and patient,
As compassionate to forgive;
So comforting is sufficient,
Every moment that you live.
God is good to everyone,
Compassion for all that He made;
Ever since when time had begun,
Eager to go rendering aid.
His Kingdom is everlasting,
Endures through each generation;
But He will be always casting,
Contempt in incineration.
