I find myself out checking fences out the back
With some time to take a break under big old tree
Alongside of a Billabong ever peaceful unvisited
I set up a short while camp Just horse dog and me
Time to do a little washing make a small camp fire
Give the horse a little freedom from saddle and pack
Make a billy of boiled hot tea for now and later
Without plans of tomorrow or thinking of too far back
A crow flies over high on it's way back to it's home
Small wild ducks swim with their mum not to far away
Breezes visit softly from within the high tree I sit
A little quiet time within natures simplicity today
And it's all so very beautiful to be able to do so ..
