The music playing in my mind,
Locked in arms dancing in memory,
Hearts pounding together with a kiss,
Has love began to play its violin?
Will this play out or grow to last?
Or does a heart break at a lover's game?
Carrying you with me in my soul,
Not knowing how to let love grow.
You used the key to unlock a dead soul,
New feelings searching for a way home.
To hold you I must not let go,
To lose you I may turn cold.
So much emotion with little known,
One last chance at a lover's grace.
A life to make and grow,
Losing would leave nowhere to go.
Loving to make the heart gain,
Not knowing love's cost.
This moment left only to hold,
Grant me with your soul,
Unlock the door with the key you hold.
