If Enough Good People Pray
I'm saddened by certain goings-on
In this country that I love
Where mutual respect and common sense
Have come to push and shove.
Where dissidents take to the streets
In violence and protest
While fanning flames of anarchy
And promoting mob unrest.
They allow hate and resentment
To send them off half-cocked
With the usual rush to judgment
As the rule of law is mocked.
These people rarely take the time
To entertain the facts
But rather, make excuses for
Their lawless deeds and acts.
They don't accept opposing views
And the notion of free speech
Unless it happens to align
With what they spew and preach.
But even though I'm saddened by

I believe that God will heal our land
