I have not yet reached my goal,
Or have completed the course;
But I run so that my soul,
To reach Christ who is my source.
The source of my salvation,
And I run for winning the race;
To have a conversation,
Letting Jesus Christ embrace.
I am not a winner yet,
But I will never look back;
As I strive I will not fret,
Of anything I might lack.
So I will lengthen my stride,
Running towards my goal to win;
Remembering to abide,
So I do not stray to sin.
A heavenly call from God,
Offers Jesus Christ as prize;
Curing me where I am flawed,
Giving wisdom to be wise.
If your faith would be mature,
Then you are thinking this way;
God can be making you pure,
And no need to go astray.
God will show you how to think,
Guided by what we learn so far;
Avoiding any strong drink,
As to be a shining star.
Follow and pay attention,
Examples that are living;
Listen for comprehension,
Importance of forgiving.
A heavenly colony,
Where we hold citizenship;
So we live in harmony,
And godly relationship.
We look to be with the Lord,
Be humbled and glorified;
And to be in one accord,
With Christ who was crucified.
