Heavy Load
Going from two to one,
Then watching my son,
Going from two to one,
Our lives become undone.
Speechless we are bound,
Never sure when found,
Tomorrow will remain,
Yesterday will refrain.
All the world stops,
Weary minds no ops,
Time awaits a must,
No longer upper crust.
We sleep alone,
Watch our phone,
Breath our last,
Only to be outcast.
Our time has come,
To live as one,
Away we will stay,
All while we pray.
Then answers will come,
For now we seek some,
What is done is done,
On the morrow I be one.
