Where Will We GoWhere will we go, when there's no place to go Where will we run to my friends? Where can we hide from the eyes of God When we're convicted of our sins? Yes, where will we go when there's no place to go God judges what the future will bring Our destination to where we will go Belongs to Jesus our Lord and King Our earth is polluted on every side Air and water not fit for mankind Crimes fill our streets, evilness fills our mind Now where will we hide? The feet of man has touched the moon There's not much left undone We have built bigger buildings, more highways We've done everything under the sun Pornography and adultry has been given a shove Almost gone is marriage, old fashion man and woman love We have run too and fro, seeking pleasure, finding none There's shortages, can we ever overcome? We have done things we wanted to do, been to places unknown We have rambled the earth, wickedness has grown He tells us if we overcome we'll be given a crown There will be a new heaven and earth, peace will abound Norma 1975 copyright 2003/2004 Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
