bliss

i held on to my loved one beneath the moon so bright
surrounded by the stars  lighting up the night
we walked along together holding hand in hand
strolling side side as we walked along the sand

counting all the stars high up in the sky
counting one by one as we went walking by
till we reached a thousand then we began to kiss
the beauty of the night filled my heart with bliss

the clouds were floating by pure and so white
such a lovely setting for a perfect night
the  thousand stars we counted shining up above
such a  lovely night that filled my heart with love

i wont forget that night and i never will
as i held you tightly in the night so still
the shining of the stars. and the moon above.
as we strolled together very much in love
