GOOD CHEER ON CHRISTMAS EVE

I know you will find this one actually awful, but it is really true, and we need to think about it on this Christmas eve~! Christmas Eve,

On this Christmas eve,
I sleep under a bridge.
you wouldn't believe,
my body held like a wedge.

For the slant of the bank,
is so steep, don't you see,
But for this dryness I thank,
there are worse places to be.

So I will praise the good Lord,
for the luck I am given,
so many other like me,
are already in heaven.

A dry blanket I found,
and from the handout I got,
it's to the liquor store I am bound,
Good cheer for this old sot.
