For My Mother

FOR MY MOTHER

She gives me love that will never change
Her love comforts me with peace that eases my pain
She is always there nothing but death can take her away
Nothing or no one can ever take her place
She had to be both father and mother at times
She never rests although she gets tired at times
Her love for her family is like no other
It’s an honor to call her my mother
She took the time to introduce me to God and all his Glory
She made sure I knew his story
She said that he died for you and me
She said he did this so that we may be free
She taught me to trust Christ though faith and said for me to always remember no matter how far I may stray
If I called on him he would always show me the right way
She’s not just a mother to me but has been a mamma to all
She’s always there for anyone who calls
Where would I be without you mom
There were so many times I found shelter in your arms
I could not have come through all the things I’ve been through without you
I just want to say I love you and thank you for everything that you do
