Is there any encouragement,
Any comfort from having love;
Neglected of acknowledgement,
Of what was bestowed from above.
Participation from the Spirit,
Affection from the sympathy;
Acknowledging any merit,
Only feeling the apathy.
Complete my joy being the same,
Of the same mind and the same love;
Praise and worship His Holy name,
In full accord with God thereof.
Do not have selfish ambitions,
Conceited for personal gain;
Forget not your inhibitions,
Humility counts to restrain.
Let each of you of your own things,
Look not just to your interests;
No matter what pleasure it brings,
Like the self-centered atheists.
Please keep this always in your mind,
Which is yours as was in Jesus Christ;
Always to be humbled and kind,
Your self-interests are sacrificed.
Though He was in the form of God,
Counting equality be grasped;
That Jesus Christ was never flawed,
Unlike us having hearts that clasped.
Christ was made a servant in form,
And born in the likeness of men;
To others He had looked just norm,
No reputation had He back then.
Humbled up to death on the cross,
Exalted highly we proclaim;
The Son of God suffered the loss,
But your tongue must confess His name.
So, everyone must kneel,
As every tongue confess;
For confession of an appeal,
That the glory of God to bless.
