WORDS I SHOULD NOT USE
Words I should not use
When I was little, my dear mother,
did not likes words from the gutter,
and felt that we should try to smother,
dirty thoughts of things that made her shutter.
For many things I would only try to mutter,
but finding synonyms, sinuous that had no other,
many were difficult and others tougher,
so tell me a better word to describe a musher.
And what are we supposed to call an utter,
I get so confused sometime I stutter,
and have difficulty talking to my lover.
A wrong expression will make me suffer.
So in this poem I will not clutter,
your mind, or say words I heard, from my brother.
But will use clean words, quick and with a flutter,
at least when I find myself around my mother.
