Glory of the Almighty

He is like the wind blowing
through trees of life, he
stands tall among the red
wood, with a story to be
told.

He walks among the mighty
wolf, singing his songs of
great delight, he calms
the storm after the rain
with double rainbows to
make our spirits bright.

He brings flowers to welcome
each day, with light from
the sun, a new day of promise
for us to behold.

He lays his hands upon
the night, with a velvet
cloche of sparkling
gems, for all of us to know
the glory of his love.

He sucks the honey from the
bee-hive, he drinks nectar from
each opened flower, he calls
to us from above, but do
we hear him, or just feel
a soft whispering
of a gentle breeze upon
a troubled heart!
