The message about the cross,
Would be foolishness to those;
Perish because of the loss,
For the lifestyle they chose.
It is the power of God,
Unto us who have been saved;
Because we honor and laud,
No longer has sin enslaved.
God breaks wisdom of the wise,
Thwart cleverness of experts;
He sees through any disguise,
Preventing all of their efforts.
Where is the philosopher,
The expert of Mosaic Law;
Debating Lucifer,
His foolishness made you flaw.
Has God not made the wisdom,
Causing the foolishness here;
Blocking us from His kingdom,
Since we have lost our fear.
For with the wisdom of God,
From a world that did not know;
Foolishness has made us flawed,
Stopping us where blessings flow.
God is very pleased to save,
All those who truly believe;
Being rescued from the grave,
With salvation to receive.
Jews have been demanding signs,
While Greeks ask for wisdom;
From the growing of the vines,
Guiding them to His Kingdom.
We preach of the crucified,
A stumbling block for the Jews;
Foolishness as justified,
Paying for the sinful dues.
The foolishness of the Lord,
Wiser than wisdom of man;
Never let it be ignored,
Stronger than anyone can.
