SPRING IN TEXAS HILL COUNTRY

Oh what a very beautiful day,
I have no doubt about it.
Spring is well upon it's way,
makes me want to shout a bit~!

The agarita is now in full bloom,
bees have already found its nectar,
hypnotic aroma fills my room,
somewhat overpowering my receptors.

In the field around gourds newly clean,
Purple martins have arrived,
darting, chirping, acting mean,
showing the winter, they survived.

And in the trees loud chirping sounds,
melodies of mingled joy can be heard,
can't distinguish which individual can be found,
more like a symphony of the birds.

So now to relax, and to enjoy,
the coming of better times.
My body outside I must now deploy,
put away these silly rhymes.
