We hear about a marriage made in Heaven...
A dreamed of and awaited true love story...
The joining of a man and of a woman...
A marriage truly blessed with Heaven's Glory.
But there is another marriage made in Heaven...
A marriage shrouded in such mystery...
The mystery of the Khatan and the Kalah...
The Kalah which consists of you and me.
The Khatan is, of course, the Lord ,our Savior...
He is the loving Bridegroom and we are
The Kalah or The Bride He is betrothed to...
The prelude to His passion travels far.
A comparative look at the Jewish Wedding
Paints a picture of this soon forthcoming date...
Of a celebration unlike any other...
When we'll be joined forever to our mate.
If we, in fact, are waiting for the Bridegroom...
If we've trimmed our wicks and if we've oiled our lamps...
Then we'll be considered ready for His coming
And ready for the Wedding Feast of Champs!
For Jesus is the Champion of all Champions!
And we've overcome by the shed Blood of the Lamb!
And by the words of each our testimony!
We serve in the Army of the great Khatan!!
The Khatan is One who joins Himself to us...
We don't have to seek His love...it is all ours.
We are the ones He suffered and He died for.
Such love as His has overthrown Hell's powers.
The mystery of the Khatan holds the mystery
Of redemption and every mystery of life.
What a mystery that God will be our husband!
What a mystery that we will be His wife!

Hosea 2:19
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee
unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in loving kindness,
and in mercies.
Isaiah 54:5
For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name;
and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of
the whole earth shall he be called.
Revelation 19:7-9
Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage
of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready;
it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”—
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. And the angel said
to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper
of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of GOD."
