Poetic-Verses

'' There's A World Out There ''

While writing some verse,
I drew a blank,
Left feeling terse,
My spirits sank.

I was on a roll,
Suddenly I'd died,
Staring into a hole,
It was then I cried.

I shouted, why me,
A voice said, why not,
Though I didn't agree,
My plight I forgot.

As I argued back,
Words started flowing,
I was on the attack,
The intensity was growing.

That voice was my saviour,
Now when I feel doubt,
All sorts of behaviour,
Are what gives me clout.

Look all around,
Read the reviews,
There's a poem to be found,
In the everyday news.

Be it fact or fiction,
The choice is all yours,
No need for friction,
If the writer endures.

Don't ever surrender,
Writers block can ensnare,
When your thoughts become slender,

‘' There's A World Out There ‘'
