The vandal is as good as dead,
You who have not yet been destroyed;
Woe to the spoiler who will dread,
When the righteous will be deployed.
The deceitful will soon believe,
When someone who had been deceived;
No longer will they preconceive,
For whatever they misconceived.
O Lord, be merciful upon us,
Because we are waiting on you;
Every morning for as thus,
By assisting us to construe.
Give me strength every morning,
Deliver me from the distress;
Give not my foes any warning,
Of Your wrath for what they transgress.
The nations run away in fear,
Scattering when You take action;
Because of the noise that they hear,
Reflecting dissatisfaction.
The plunder is disappearing,
As a swarm of locust will feast;
The land that many are fearing,
Will not be fit for man or beast.
The Lord needs to be exalted,
For He dwells in Heaven on High;
And must be constantly lauded,
Never to be questioned as why.
He fills Zion with righteousness,
Providing judgment with justice;
He is impartial with fairness,
Glad to pardon if you confess.
A fixed source of stability,
Of all known knowledge and wisdom;
Abundantly provides safety,
Stored in the heavenly kingdom.
The Lord will be your foundation,
As fear of the Lord is the key;
An abundance of salvation,
As a treasure trove you will see.
