Jesus ??? 3/23/18
I hope people don't mistake this as blasphemous...
Grew up all my life praying and giving thanks to the sun of God
a.k.a Jesus Christ,
like a sheep to the slaughter
blindly did I follow my father
and my forefathers before him,
never once questioning
just where all this information came from,
what was the agenda of the giver of such divine insight
on God and His sun?
so I ventured deep into the crevasses of my ancestral roots
to discover the hidden truth...
when we were in the Motherland
christianity was not our reality
matter of a fact it wasn't even in our vocabulary (scary)
then we were stolen,
bought,
kidnapped,
and forced to enter the door of no return...
...then if you were blessed to survive the grueling 3 to 6-month trip
we were forced to take new names,
learn a foreign language, practice a new religion, and
agree to be someone else's property...
Malcolm X said
"the man who allows his enemy to teach his children is a fool"
so I digress...
who taught us about Jesus Christ?...
when you figure it out...
see if the Light is forever ignited...
