Sin the Law is but a shadow,
The future holds of the good things;
Of the realities that flow,
Not the same as sacrifices bring.
Would the offer not ever cease?
Or make perfect those who draw near;
Since the worshipers do increase,
Simply no longer do they fear.
No longer are conscience of sin,
But sacrificial reminders;
Of every year we begin,
In taking of our blinders.
For the blood of bulls and the goats,
Impossible to take away;
From all the types of sin that floats,
That has been causing you to stray.
When Jesus had come to this place,
Sacrifices not desired;
For offerings will show no grace,
When pagan things have inspired.
Burnt offerings take no pleasure,
The same for a sin offering;
When it deals with earthly treasure,
Not to confuse with suffering.
God has come to do our will,
As it is written in His book;
Written to us for to instill,
Making us to take a good look.
You did not ever desired,
Nor have ever taken pleasure;
Of sacrifices required,
Or offerings of a treasure.
God has come to do our will,
The first order He does away;
To establish the second till,
The coming of the final day.
That will we have been sanctified,
Offering the body of Christ;
On Calvary was crucified,
Who is becoming sacrificed.
Daily ministering the same,
Offering of sacrifices;
Ensuring that you must proclaim,
Against something that entices.
