My Mother

There's no one on earth
Like the one who gave me birth
There is no better friend
Whoes love could not end
There is no other so kind
Close by I always could find
When days were dark and drear
And nights were filled with fear
She's the one who's arms held me
And "don't be afraid I was told"
A loving Father surely knew
How very much I needed you.

Norma Duncan copyright  2003/2004

My mother passed on May 2, 1982. Life is not the same without our mother. We never outgrow our need for them, just to talk, and feel the love we have for each other.
