Assortment of friends,
Fun-filled childhood,
Short-lived love life,
Future unknown.
Life struggles . . . .
Kids in tow,
Emotional, physical,
And financial burden,
Challenged my sanity.
After the storm . . . .
Didn't think possible,
Seeing third generation,
From children of my own,
On a brighter road to journey.
Comfort zone . . . .
Sheer will and determination,
Wishes claimed by faith
Has brought me this point
Of solitude and contentment.
