We speak wisdom through the mature,
But not a wisdom of this age;
For some wisdom that is impure,
Following a different page.
Instead we speak wisdom of God,
That is shrouded in mystery;
But knowing that it is unflawed,
Through a long-standing history.
None of the rulers of this age,
Seem as though that they understand;
To torment the Lord at this stage,
To crucify upon demand.
There are things that no eye has seen,
Likewise, somethings no ear has heard;
Not imagined things that have been,
That God has prepared in His Word.
God has revealed all of these things,
In the Word and through His Spirit;
The deep things of God that it brings,
Through salvation we inherit.
For who among men know these things,
Except for the spirit within him;
If allowed to flow as it brings,
Giving man the vigor and vim.
We have not received the spirit,
Not of this world rather of God;
Not because of our merit,
Rather for giving honor and laud.
For as we speak about these things,
Not with words that were human taught;
But wisdom that the Spirit brings,
What has been spiritually sought.
The unbeliever receives not,
The things of the Holy Spirit;
Because it is the world that taught,
In the realm of worldly merit.
For he could never have realized,
Being spiritually discerned;
Those spiritually visualized;
Reflecting on what they have learned.
Who has known the mind of the Lord,
Able to advise or teach Him;
But your mind is in one accord,
Bestowed on you vigor and vim.
