Bora born

Such a place as this _

A feather found scratch no lie
signs each time you pass on by.
A message held just for you
heaven sent no deja vu.

We've got your back so they say
the path you're on shows the way.
Feathered signs to lift your heart
do this do that take my part.

Then it happens all in one
at the shed where space is born.
In the mountains above cairns
the evelyn tableland.

A magpie still wild and free
comes inside for a look see.
On a chair's back's regal perch
he rests quiet, no sound is heard.

I turn around to see him there
feathered one so close so rare.
His head cocks as if to say
hello mate please make my day.

I comply with crust in hand
there's no need to fear this man.
Minds agree this is for you
gifts exchanged between the two.

The magpie's raw sacred tone
is placed in histories zone.
DNA serves Eden's needs, all
songbirds are your progeny.
