THE LEFT HANDED SIN

Except for the place I may be in,
some folks still think, that it is a sin,
people of the desert still insist,
especially those who are Zionist .

To keep a straight face they are not able,
when I put my left hand above the table.
It is for other purposes you see,
and the reason why, is lost on me.

For in this awful place of sand,
no trees will grow throughout the land,
and water is so scarce you see,
leaving a quandary for such folks as me.

Keep an eye out and very soon,
a man will disappear behind a dune,
with a small can half full of water,
I'd tell you why, but shouldn't ought to.
It want be long and he'll be back,
put an empty can back in his sack.
And that my friend, is what you see,
but the reason why may be lost on me.
