Obey leaders submit to them,
Because they watch over your soul;
Do not ridicule or condemn,
But give account for their control.
Let them do this without complaint,
Do it with joy and not with grief;
Keep emotions under restraint,
For differences of belief.
We are sure of a clear conscience,
Desire to conduct in respect;
Pray that our obedience,
Honest living that will reflect.
Please pray that I may be restored,
I my faith would start to decay;
So, I do not lose my reward,
Allowing me to go astray.
May the God of peace by the blood,
Eternal covenant brought back;
Being immersed within the flood,
Purify you where you may lack.
Let me equip you with good things,
Everything to do His will;
The goodness knowing Heaven brings,
For motivation does instill.
Let it work in you as pleasing,
As well pleasing within His sight;
Through Christ whose glory not ceasing,
Enabled to walk in the light.
Bear with my words of incitement,
Only briefly have I written;
Let Jesus keep your enticement,
Before the devil has smitten.
You should already know it all,
How you are able to set free;
From sin that causes a free fall,
For God gives you insight to see.
Greet all your leaders and the saints,
Salute those that rule over you;
Remember about the complaints,
Not in forcing your point of view.
